1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how MostGym Tracker ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Workout data (exercises, sets, reps, weight, RPE, notes)
• Workout history and statistics
• Workout templates you create
• App preferences and settings

The App also uses the device camera solely for scanning QR codes on gym equipment. Camera images are processed on-device and are never stored or transmitted.

3. How We Use Your Information

All workout data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. We use this data exclusively to:

• Display your workout history and progress
• Calculate statistics and track your performance
• Provide exercise suggestions based on past workouts
• Manage workout templates

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Firestore — used solely to retrieve remote app configuration. No personal data or workout data is sent to Firebase.
• Google ML Kit (on-device) — used for QR code scanning. All processing happens locally on your device; no images are sent to any server.
• PostHog (hosted in the European Union, eu.posthog.com) — used for anonymous product analytics to understand how features are used and to identify bugs. See Section 5 for details on what is collected.

5. Anonymous Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. These analytics help us improve the App and prioritize fixes. The following information is sent to PostHog:

• A randomly generated anonymous device identifier (not linked to your name, email, or any account).
• Screen views within the App (e.g., which tabs you open).
• Product events such as starting or finishing a workout, logging a set, creating a template, scanning a QR code, or sending feedback.
• Event metadata associated with those actions, including numeric values you enter for a set (weight, reps, RPE), the duration of a workout, the number of sets in a workout, and the names of exercises you add to a workout.
• Standard technical information provided by the PostHog SDK: app version, device model, operating system version, locale, and approximate geolocation derived from your IP address.

We do not send your personal identity, your workout notes, attached files, or your feedback messages to PostHog. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand overall usage patterns; it is not used to profile or advertise to you.

If you wish to opt out of analytics, you can revoke network access to the App via your device settings or uninstall the App. A dedicated in-app opt-out control is not currently provided.

6. In-App Feedback

The App includes a feedback feature that allows you to send us messages directly from the Settings screen. When you use this feature:

• Your feedback message and optional subject line are sent via your device's email client to ingram5702@gmail.com.
• You may optionally attach files (such as screenshots) to your feedback. These files are sent through your email client and are not uploaded to any server by the App.
• The App does not store or process your feedback content — it simply opens your email app with the pre-filled recipient address.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or workout content to any third parties. The only information that leaves your device is the anonymous analytics data described in Section 5 (sent to PostHog) and, if you use the feedback feature, the message you voluntarily compose and send through your own email client (Section 6).

8. Data Storage and Security

Your workout content — exercises, sets, history, templates, notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. We do not have access to it, and it is not uploaded to our servers. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. Anonymous analytics events already sent to PostHog are not tied to your device after uninstall.

9. Camera Permission

The App requests camera access only when you use the QR Scanner feature. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings. The camera is used exclusively for reading QR codes and no images are captured, stored, or transmitted.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
