This Privacy Policy explains how Neon Hockey Sport handles information when you use the Android application. The app is an arcade air hockey game with optional QR scanning, feedback, Firebase remote configuration, and WebView functionality.

Information We Store Locally

Neon Hockey Sport stores gameplay settings and local progress on your device, such as sound and vibration preferences, local top scores, and basic game statistics. This information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to our servers by the native game features.

Camera and QR Scanning

The app may request camera permission when you use the QR scanner. Camera access is used to scan QR codes for future games or links. The app does not save camera frames for QR scanning. QR recognition is processed on the device by Google ML Kit.

Feedback and Photos

If you send feedback from the Settings screen, you may choose to write a message and attach a photo. The app opens your email application and shares the content you choose to send. We use that information only to review and respond to your feedback.

Firebase and Remote Configuration

The app uses Firebase Firestore to read a remote configuration value that may determine whether a WebView screen should be shown. The app stores the cached WebView URL locally so it can keep the same behavior on later launches. This configuration check is not used by the native game to collect gameplay data.

WebView Content

If a WebView URL is configured, the app may open web content inside the application. WebView supports JavaScript, cookies, file upload, file download, and camera capture when required by the loaded website. Any data you enter into a website inside the WebView is handled by that website according to its own privacy practices.

Permissions

The app may use the following Android permissions:

Internet and network state: to load Firebase configuration and optional WebView content.
Camera: to scan QR codes and support camera capture in WebView file upload flows.
Vibration: to provide gameplay feedback when enabled.
Storage on older Android versions: to support WebView file download and upload behavior.

Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services and platform components, including:

Google Firebase / Firestore for remote configuration.
Google ML Kit for on-device QR code scanning.
Android System WebView for displaying web content.
Your email application when you choose to send feedback.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only when needed to operate app features, when you choose to send feedback through your email application, when a website is opened inside WebView, or when required by law.

Children's Privacy

Neon Hockey Sport is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through feedback or WebView content, please contact us so we can review the request.

Data Deletion

You can remove local game data by clearing the app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app. If you sent feedback by email and want it deleted, contact us using the email below.
